Aromatherapy: The use of essential oils from aromatic plants to restore and enhance health and beauty and are also noted for their psychological therapeutic benefits.

The use of Essential Oils for healing has been documented throughout history.

When used in massage, the Essential Oils MUST be therapeutic grade.

I have been studying Aromatherapy for over 15 years and have purchased Essential Oils from many different companies.  Needless to say, I have experienced the good and the bad with companies misleading their customers, (the "network marketing" companies are the worst offenders).

Being able to use Essential Oils in my massage practice gives me immediate feedback as to the effectiveness (the "therapeutic" value) of the oils I purchase.

I am proud to say that I have well over $1000 worth of Essential Oils (blends and single oils) that are entirely "therapeutic grade" sitting on the shelf right next to my massage table and are readily available for every massage session.

I use Aromatherapy to enhance the results of every massage...and it doesn't cost my clients extra as it does in the Spas.  I feel that when a client comes for a massage that they should be able to reap the benefits of all the training that their therapist has without worrying about cost.

It is so wonderful to see the immediate effect when therapeutic grade Essential Oils are brought into the massage session and placed on the clients body!  I am not afraid to use oils like Helichrysum, Rose or Jasmine (all extremely expensive when they are therapeutic grade), if the situation dictates their use...and again, the results are astounding!

You will absolutely love being able to include Aromatherapy into your sessions!

Therapeutic Essential Oils

Nearly every site you visit that sells or uses Essential Oils states that their oils are 100% pure. This is quite misleading because in order to produce an Essential Oil, it comes from a 100% pure source...(the plant).

What you want is a "Therapeutic Grade" Essential Oil.  You can have a 100% pure oil that is a commercial grade (which most oils in the United States are).

A commercial grade Essential Oil is that which is used in candle making, cosmetics and perfumes, and food products.

A "Therapeutic Grade" Essential Oil is the one that produces the results listed in the definition at the top of this page...therapeutic psychological and physical benefits.
